The Gifted Education Team collaborated with the Biology Department to hold two thematic workshops focused on "DNA Species Identification" and "Viruses and Evolution." The workshops aimed to help students integrate their biological knowledge and learn related theories, such as the structure of DNA and DNA extraction techniques, types of viruses and their transmission methods, various pathogens, and the evolution of organisms. After the theoretical sessions, students engaged in experiments using different techniques and instruments, allowing them to understand that effective learning involves balancing theory and practice. This experience also provided them with a taste of laboratory work, fostering their interest in future careers.
